Library Catalog Computers Up and Running!

The library's catalog can now be accessed on dedicated (and labeled) computers in the library; there is one catalog computer on each floor of the library.

We're always happy to help you search for books and other materials, but now you also have the option to look them up in the catalog yourself. If you're not sure how to do this, let us know and we'll be happy to show you!

And flowers of June together,

Dear Friends,
Have you ever noticed the little blue button on the right side of our Chatham Public Library website (chatham.lib.ny.us)? This is our Home Access button. With your library card number and your pin (password) you can access a wealth of databases that the Library pays for or receives free from New York State.

Do you need magazine articles for a school project? Do you want to check consumer reports before a purchase? Do you need help repairing a car? Does your small business need some information? Are you searching for a job or career ideas? Reliable health information?

There is a Homework Help section, including among other resources, several encyclopedias and a colorful Kids' Port for children looking for books to order in our library system.

Take a look and if you need help setting up a pin, just give us a call (518-392-3666). The site is available even when the library is closed, twenty four hours a day.

And the Library will be closed on Columbus Day, October 14. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 15th at 10 AM.

 Sincerely,
 Wendy Fuller
 Interim Director, Chatham Public Library
