Events
1. Christmas Eve Services - TONIGHT

7:00 pm Family Service
We gather for a service featuring traditional readings, Christmas carols, our Christmas band made up of kids and adults together, and our children's play depicting the events of Christ's birth. This worship service will be lively and very child-friendly but still reverent. We also light candles to spread the light of Christ.

9:00 pm Candlelight and Communion
This later service includes "lessons and carols" (the scripture lessons telling the Christmas story, interspersed with Christmas carols), our chancel choir, the sacrament of communion (always open to all) and candlelight.

Announcements
1. Sanctuary Acoustics Project Team to meet in early January

We have great news!  One of our church members has donated $10,000 towards improving the sanctuary acoustics. We also have in hand two proposals to study, then make recommendations for improvement.
The team members are: Dick Dowell, Mary Ann Ingenthron, Joyce Smuda, David Atkinson, June Prowell, Ron and Marilyn Hoppes and Andy Burke.  Ashley Arroyo is an ex officio member.
If you have ideas, comments or questions please contact me or one of the team members before our early January meeting.

2.  Year-End Giving Deadline

In order to comply with IRS guidelines regarding year-end giving, all donations must either be received in person by December 31st or postmarked by December 31st if mailed.

For mail-in donations received on or after December 31st, the envelopes will be retained in order to confirm that the donations were postmarked by December 31st.  Financial Secretaries will verify the postmark dates and will retain the envelopes with the Income Statement files in the church office.  If you are working with a banking or other financial institution to make your donation, you must ensure that the institution can provide the December 31st postmark.

For drop-in donations, staff will be available on Thursday, Dec 31st until 12 NOON to accept your walk-in donations for 2015.
