Lake Shore Pediatrics is excited to announce that on Monday, March 11th we will be changing to an electronic medical record (EMR).  That means no more paper charts!  Through our medical collective PediaTrust, we have partnered with Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and will be using their same EMR.  What this means for patients is improved, secure communication between all PediaTrust offices and the sub-specialists at Lurie.  In addition, we will now be e-prescribing: sending your child's medicine prescriptions directly to the pharmacy of your choice. 

Please bear with us during these first few transition weeks!  We are learning a brand new cutting-edge way of documenting your visits and will have a few "kinks" in the system to iron out.  We appreciate your patience in advance, but rest assured we will continue to offer the expert and personalized care that you and your children have come to expect.
