Atlanta's Affordable Housing Preservation Challenge

REGISTER TODAY for the launch event for Atlanta's Affordable Housing Preservation Challenge on Thursday, November 3 from 9:15 am - 2 pm at the Southface Energy Institute. We are pleased to announce that this event will feature Atlanta City Councilman Andre Dickens as the morning's featured speaker.

Organized by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Georgia ACT, Enterprise Community Partners, and sponsored by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation, the Preservation Challenge is an idea competition to generate innovative, implementable proposals that will help preserve affordable housing in the Atlanta region and throughout Georgia's urban centers. This competition is open to all stakeholders with an interest in affordable housing, and up to $100,000 in resources will be made to support concept development and implementation.

The launch event will bring together a wide-ranging group of stakeholders concerned about the region's housing affordability challenges and preservation opportunities. The event will feature a practitioner panel discussion of local community and public sector representatives, developers, property owners, and investors. The event will close with an interactive discussion of the Preservation Competition goals and process. Join us to learn more about these challenges and opportunities, as well as the ways you can participate in the Affordable Housing Preservation Challenge.

If you or anyone from your organization plans to attend, please RSVP by Monday, November 1, 2016. Please contact Mike Spotts (mspotts@enterprisecommunity.org) for additional information.
