DCA Job Posting: Senior Compliance Specialist
 
The Senior Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring affordable multifamily properties for regulatory compliance with a variety of affordable housing financing programs including the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and the HUD HOME Partnership Program.  The Specialist will provide technical assistance to industry partners, interpret and implement program regulatory changes on the state level and contribute to the improvement of procedures related to effective and efficient compliance monitoring. This position demands a willingness to stretch and grow-offering opportunities for leadership, development, and public speaking. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, auditing complex multilayered financed multifamily properties for compliance with a variety of federal and state programmatic requirements, developing strategic approaches to identifying potential compliance issues for DCA's large portfolio of funded properties, working with asset management staff to develop solutions for stabilization of troubled properties, scoring the performance of property owners and managers in funded properties, and implementation of DCA compliance program guidelines in accordance with HUD, IRS and Treasury guidance.
