Helping home business lay stronger foundations: HomeBiz Connect
Canberra, Thursday 7th March 2013
Australia's peak body for small business advice says a new wave of home-based businesses is sweeping across Australia but many of these up and coming entrepreneurs are getting caught offguard by rules and regulations they didn't know about, says Business Enterprise Centres Australia (BECA) chairman Jack Hughes.
HomeBiz Connect is a new, national initiative from Business Enterprise Centres Australia, being launched in every capital city around Australia between now and May 30, to equip home-based business owners with information about compliance, regulations, employment obligations, marketing, legal and financial information. It has been funded by the Federal Government.
