Welcome to our last newsletter for 2012. We have just launched our new Lighthouse website, have events coming up and are developing a new program for the ACT Government.
On our upcoming events schedule we have Canberra BusinessPoint Master Class, Good Bookkeeping: Out of the Shoebox and into the Cloud. This Master Class will cover the foundations of good bookkeeping and the options available to businesses for best best practice including the pros and cons of online bookkeeping.
We have decided to squeeze in one last Business Canvas workshop before the end of the year. The workshop will be held on 28 November. Click here for more information.
A new program supported by the ACT Government through the Office for Ageing, Leading Lights is being developed by Lighthouse. This is a vehicle for experienced entrepreneurial seniors to share their skills and experiences with existing and aspiring entrepreneurs of all ages. The program will commence in 2013 and we look forward to matching business mentors with entrepreneurs.

New look Lighthouse website

The new look Lighthouse website is live!! The new website makes it easy for regular visitors to see upcoming events and latest news on the home page. In addition, if you haven't explored the Lighthouse website before, it is designed to help entrepreneurs, researchers and inventors find out which services are best suited to them based on individual needs.
CEO of Lighthouse, Anna Pino said, "It's been three years in the making, but our new website is finally here. Our aim was to make the site easier to navigate and provide information relevant to the specific needs of the user. I hope we have achieved that.
