Most dealers did well at the FUN show, but we did hear a few dealers grumbling about lower sales than they expected. That wasn't us, as we were constantly busy, even well into the last hour on Thursday and Friday. We met our sales expectations for the show on its first day.
We also got some great new purchases ("newps") highlighted by a wonderful 1820 STATESOFAMERICA dime in PCGS AU-58, and an 1827 dime in PCGS MS-64. We also located a nice 1796 quarter in a PCGS VG details, cleaned holder which is very affordable, plus a nice 1822 quarter in PCGS XF-45 with quite a bit of lustre. We found several nice Bust halves incl. an 1801 O-102, an 1807 O-111a, and an 1833 O-115, plus three nice Seated halves topped by the nicest 1841-O Baseball Die crack reverse half I have ever seen (PCGS AU-53). We hadn't been able to find many Seated dollars lately, but at FUN we acquired an 1848 in PCGS AU-58, an 1860 in NGC AU-55, an 1864 in PCGS VF-35, an 1869 in PCGS AU-55, plus two 1872-S dollars, one in PCGS VF-30 and the other PCGS AU details, cleaned. We also found a rare 1873 2c piece in PCGS PR-08 and a great toned 1904-O Morgan dollar in PCGS MS-64.

Welcome to 2015! |
We hope everyone had an enjoyable New Year's holiday! 2015 represents the start of our tenth year in business. Our business has grown by leaps and bounds since that first year. For example, we just completed a deal that is larger than our sales were in our first year. In 2015, we will continue searching for scarce, rare and cool coins that collectors need, and we hope we can find some coins for you! Thank you all for your support during the last ten years, and we look forward to many more years!
