Week 4 Summary

Week 4 once again saw gains in both Electrical Testing and Inspection yields.

Electrical Testing gained another seven points, reaching 78% in Week 4 after climbing to 67% in Week 3 Inspection yields also improved from 71% in Week 3 to 75% in Week 4.

A total of four new part numbers were added to the Substandard Parts List, with one posting a 100% failure rate.

Substandard Part Listing

Philips BYD77G - (Date Code 0540) - 100% Failure Rate - Low breakdown voltage, Vbr. Was within 250V to 300V with 100uA reverse current and specification is for a minimum of 440V breakdown voltage

NXP 2N7002 - (Date Code not marked or labeled) - 71% Failure Rate - High Rds(on) and breakdown.

Xilinx XC4VLX25-10SF363I - (Date Code 1035) - 6% Failure Rate - Program error from Vccint being shorted to GND.

Intel EN80C188EB-13 (Date Code 811) - 77% Failure Rate - Incorrect pin assignments. Pins 3 and 60 should be non-connect, NC; however, they are connected.

BYD77G - 100% Failure Rate for low breakdown voltage, Vbr.

Notes:

1. Statistics are calculated as a percentage of all lots dis-positioned within the given time period.

2. "Accept" is defined as customer acceptance of report device condition.

3. "Pass" is defined as meeting electrical parameters defined by the agreed upon test plan.
