White Horse Laboratories' Quality Report

Happy Holidays! Our Hong Kong facility will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December for Christmas and Boxing Day holidays and again on January 1st for New Year's Day. Or China operations will only be closed on New Year's Day.

Week 49 Summary

We will be catching up on the listings for Weeks 37 thru 48 in one consolidated report to be published just after Christmas with Week 50 coming on Thursday and Week 51 coming next Tuesday.

Week 49 showed a rather typical pattern with higher Electrical Testing yields than  Inspection yields as substandard devices are identified early in the analysis process.

Electrical Testing yields weighed in at 80% while Inspection yields checked in at a meager 59%. Electrical failures were largely consistent with refurbished and remarked parts.

There are four new devices added to the substandard parts list from Week 49, one of which had a 100% failure rate.

Week 49 Quality Report

NXP SemiconductorsPUMD2 (not marked or labeled) - 100% Failure Rate - The Iebo was more than 50uA and R1(R2) was about 22k, including 1 piece where the pin 1 mark was reversed to electrical pins frame.

Xilinx XC9572-10PC84I (Date Codes 0215 and 0209) - 14% Failure Rate - Program error (158 pieces with Version "0000") and no output.

Intel  EN80C188EB-13 (not marked or labeled) - 100% Failure Rate - The Pins 3, 39 and 60 are not NC. They are NC on the 188 and connected on the 186, so these are 186 remarked as the 188 series.

Notes:

1. Statistics are calculated as a percentage of all lots dis-positioned within the given time period.

2. "Accept" is defined as customer acceptance of report device condition.

3. "Pass" is defined as meeting electrical parameters defined by the agreed upon test plan.

We hope you find this report informative and usefull for your organization.

All the best,
