Typhoon Kalmaegi passed well to the south of Hong Kong; however, the T8 Signal was in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday noon. Flights were disrupted so be prepared for some packages that may have been delayed.

Week 36 Summary

We will be catching up on the listings for Weeks 27 thru 35 in two consolidated reports to be published over the next two weeks.

Week 36 returned to a divergent pattern of Electrical Testing and Inspection yields going in different directions.

Electrical Testing yields weighed in at 65% while Inspection yields checked in at a meager 50%. Electrical failures were largely consistent with refurbished parts.

There are seven new devices added to the substandard parts list from Week 36, two of which had a 100% failure rate.
