Our China facilities be closed on January 31 through February 9, returning on Monday, February 10th.

Our Hong Kong operation will be closed on January 31 through February 3, returning on Tuesday, February 4th.

Please note, as the actual first day of the three-day festival is on the 31st, many people leave several days in advance to be home for the first day of the holiday, and many need to leave days before that in order to secure tickets (which are obviously in short demand when millions are travelling at the same time).

Most of the markets in Shenzhen close on the 24th, this Friday. We need to ship from the lab on the 29th in order to get to Hong Kong on the 30th for final shipment as Hong Kong is closed on the 31st.

Week 4 Summary

Electrical Testing yields inched up from 75% in Week 3 to 76% in Week 4.

Inspection yields also rose to 62% in Week 4, setting a new bar for 2014, after climbing to 61% to in Week 2 before falling to 48% in Week 3.

There were nine lots with higher than a 5% failure rate, two of which were 100%. The highest totals of the year so far.
