Week 1, 2014, Summary

2014, The Year of the Horse, is off an running!

Electrical Testing yield responded with a fairly average week of 71% of all lots tested having less than a 5% failure rate.

Inspection yields, however, started the year with a dreadful 29% acceptance rate. Pretty dismal start to the year, but the weeks leading into the Lunar New Year holiday are historically some of the worst of the year as unethical traders are pushing anything they can get their hands on to make a few extra bucks for the holiday. For the next couple of weeks, I caution you to be extra vigilant.

There were only two lots with higher than a 5% failure rate, both of which were 100%, indicating outright counterfeit devices.
