And to finish off 2013, this is the final report for the year 2013, summarizing December. Please note that the last report was for Weeks 45-48 of 2013, not 2012.

 

In Week 49, Electrical Testing yields held steady at 84% in Week 49 and then plummeted to 50% in Week 50, edged up to 62% in Week 51, and then finished 2013 at 73% in Week 52, averaging 63% for the month.

 

There were 14 lots with higher than a 5% failure rate, only one of which was 100% which generally indicates outright counterfeit devices.

 

Inspection yields also held steady at about 67% in Week 49 and then dropped to just 48% in Week 50, inched forward to 50% in Week 51, and then leapt to 72% in Week 52 to finish off the year. Inspection yield averaged 57% for the period.
