November 2012 (Weeks 45-48) Summary                                                                        

Rather than bombarding you with email postings, we will be summarizing November and December and then getting back to our weekly updates starting with Week 1 of 2014!

In Week 45, Electrical Testing yields climbed to 70% from 64% in Week 44 and then climbed again to 76% in Week 46, pushed still higher in Week 47 to 89%, then ended a three-week again by drooping to 84% in Week 48. Testing yields averaged 80% for the month, which is an historically high monthly figure.

There were 13 lots with higher than a 5% failure rate, four of which were 100% which generally indicates outright counterfeit devices.

Inspection yields bounced back to 70% in Week 45 to match Week 43 after having dropped into the abyss at 40% in Week 44, and then dropped again to 62% in Week 46, bounced back again to 74% in Week 47, and then once again sagged to 67% in Week 48 continuing a consistent roller-coaster pattern for the year. Inspection approval yields averaged 68% for the month of November.
