Peeps Diorama Contest!
 
Is the thought of eating one more sweet, sticky Peep�
harshing your mallow? Make a Peeps� Diorama with them instead and see if you can master this marshmallow medium! Contest is open to all ages.

THE RULES  

* Rapid City Public Library will provide a small tray of
  Peeps� or use your own leftover Peeps� to create a
  scene from one of your favorite books or favorite authors.

  Think Where the Wild Peeps Are or Harry Peeper and the  
  Deathly Mallows
or Edgar Allen Peep.  
* Diorama should be the size of a shoebox.

* Entry forms should be submitted with your masterpiece and can be filled out at the library    
   when submitting your work.

* Submit dioramas between Monday, April 18 and Sunday, April 24.   
* Dioramas will be displayed at the library. Voting opens to the public between Monday, April
  25
and Saturday, April 30 for a Peeple's Choice Award. A first and second place will also be
  chosen by library staff.

* Winners will be announced Monday, May 2 and entries must be picked up by 7 p.m.
  Tuesday,
May 3 or we will be forced to eat them.

Create an original bookmark based on our teen summer reading theme Get in the Game - READ! This is a great opportunity to get your artwork published in the community!

Completed bookmarks can be submitted to either RCPL location by Saturday, April 30. Three winners will be selected and their bookmarks will be distributed throughout the community for our 2016 Teen Summer Reading program! Winners will also receive a $25 Best Buy gift card. Bookmark Design Contest winners will be notified Monday, May 2. All entries will be on display in Youth Services at the Downtown library during the month of May.
