Summer Reading Program 2013
DIG INTO READING

This May, children will bring home a Reading Log and Summer Reading Bookmark from school and can begin reading on June 8th. Have your child color in a picture on the Reading Log foreach day they reador someone reads to them for at least 15 minutes. Completed Reading Logs should be signed and returned to any RCPL location so that the child can collect
prizes. Bookmarks list all summer reading events.

The Summer Reading Program runs from June to July, so participants will have the opportunity to complete two Reading Logs - a 25 day log and a 50 day log.  The first day to turn in 25 day logs is July 2 and the first day to turn in 50 day logs is July 27. Participants who complete 50 days of reading will be entered into drawings for bigger prizes at the end of July!

Beginning in June, details about all of our Summer Reading events will be available online from our website. Reading Logs and Family Adventure Booklets will also be available from our website as downloads. Thanks to the Friends of the Library and local businesses for their support!
