Test Drive an eReader at RCPL!
 

Our eReader lending program allows patrons to check out a Sony WiFi eReader for a 14 day test drive. This will give you a chance to check out eBooks from our downloadables collection and get a feel for eReaders before you commit to purchasing your own device.


Each eReader comes in a canvas library bag with a charger, stylus, charging cable, directions, start-up guide and a survey to fill out when you return it. They are available for check out at the circulation desk at the Downtown library. You can also place a hold online by searching "Sony Reader" from our website -  we'll let you know when your is ready for pick up!

Like to keep track of what you've been reading? Now you can keep a private reading history list of the books you've checked out from the library.

Your reading history cannot be viewed by library staff and you can opt-in or out of this service at any time.To opt-in to this service, simply go to the library website www.rapidcitylibrary.org and click on "My Account" located in the top right corner. Sign in and then click on "Reading History" located in the left sidebar menu.
