I am a sports fanatic!!!  Whether it is football, soccer, baseball, hockey, basketball or lacrosse, I love to watch sports teams in action.  I enjoy sports for many reasons, not the least of which is the way each individual comes together focused on a common goal.  I know you've heard the expression, "they run like a well-oiled machine."  For me, this phrase paints a picture of an efficient team.  

Just like in sports, it takes a team of people all working together to achieve the mission of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay - to ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone.   Our team is comprised of social workers, EMT's, licensed therapists, crisis specialists and many others who work together on the front lines focused on one goal - to provide help to people in crisis.  However, there is an equally important team that make our work possible:  YOU - the individuals and organizations who financially support our organization.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay has an annual budget of over $11 million.  This is what it takes us to answer over 160,000 requests for help each year.  These revenues come from a variety of sources include our social enterprise, TransCare, local grants, federal, state and local government funding, and $1.5 million that is donated by people like you.

Each donor and funding entity is crucial to the success of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.  Your ongoing support is a critical component that ensures people in crisis can come to the Crisis Center to find help, hope, and healing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  You make it possible for a traumatized child to receive counseling, a sexual assault survivor to have an advocate in court, and a young family facing financial ruin to connect to resources so they can avoid homelessness.
