Holiday Giving at Parks Lincoln & Parks Ford

Parks Motor Group is a model example of a company that has gone above and beyond in their support of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. The company is a Crisis Center annual corporate partner and also sponsored a wheel chair transport van used by TransCare Medical Transportation.

When the holidays arrived, they really stepped up in support of the Crisis Center's Holiday Giving program. Giving trees, loaded with holiday wish ornaments, were set up at the Parks Lincoln dealership in Tampa and the Parks Ford dealership in Wesley Chapel.

In a matter of days, all holiday wish ornaments had been claimed by Parks employees who then shopped for their special child, adult or family. A group of Parks Lincoln employees even spent an afternoon at the Crisis Center as volunteers, creating the ornaments from construction paper. Now that's commitment!

Just before Christmas, the Wilcox room at the Crisis Center was filled with almost 100 toys, clothes, games, and gift cards from the employees at Parks Lincoln and Parks Ford.
Jennifer Cofini from Parks Motor Group was the holiday giving "Project Manager" and said this about this year's program, "Our employee engagement was incredible. People were super-excited!  We're glad we helped and we plan to do it again next holiday season.  The Crisis Center is an amazing organization that assists people to find the help they need!"

Thirteen companies and organizations participated in the 2014 holiday giving program. We are grateful for each and every one and for all the gifts they collected for Crisis Center clients.
There are many ways for organizations and individuals to support the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay including Corporate Partnership, the Sustainer Society, and Circle of Caring. To learn more about the Crisis Center, sign up today to take a tour.
