Standing Ready this Holiday Season

It's "business as usual" at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. Because crisis never takes a holiday, counselors, crisis specialists, case managers, nurse practitioners and advocates are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and that includes the December holidays.  Some of the services that stand ready to provide help, hope and healing at a moment's notice include:
Crisis Center External
2-1-1: Crisis Specialists are trained to listen to each person's need, provide emotional support, and refer the caller to Crisis Center services and over 4,000 additional community resources.

Sexual Assault Services (SAS): Advocates and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners are always on-call and will meet an assault survivor at a private & secure entrance to the Crisis Center any time of day or night

TransCare: EMT's and Paratransit drivers respond to 9-1-1 calls, provide basic life support transportation, Baker Act mental health transports, and wheel chair transportation.

Trauma Response Team: If a severe traumatic event occurs that affects a group, organization or community, the Crisis Center can mobilize a response team to provide emotional support and assistance to those people affected.

We hope you and your loved ones remain safe this Holiday Season, but should something happen, know that we are here, ready to provide help, hope and healing to those that need it!
