The honesty and spirit of a child is often the brightest light in the room. Our community has always placed the safety, security, education, and happiness of children high atop its list of values and priorities. At the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, we deliver on that promise by bringing help, hope and healing to children.
As summer turns to fall, our kids make the trek back to the classroom. As fall arrives, our kids plan their Halloween costumes. Soon, holiday decorations and freshly wrapped toys arrive. In the celebrating and fostering of childhood memories, the Crisis Center stands as a community resource to children and families who face difficulty. Many children come to us suffering neglect and abuse. Through the embrace of the Crisis Center, those same children are given intervention, support, and counseling. The light is returned to their eyes. They become free to be kids again, and their happy childhood memories are regained. In that way, the Crisis Center delivers on the promise our community has made to its children. The public trust that is the Crisis Center is not merely a place for a moment of help, but rather it is an institution for all seasons and all times.
The Crisis Center could not deliver on this promise without your support. With your time, your talents, and yes, your hard earned treasure - - the Crisis Center continues to be a place for Tampa's children and families to receive help, hope, and healing.
