2-1-1 Receives Rave Reviews by AIRS

Given the lives that are at stake each time we pick up the phone in 211, we know that only the extraordinary will do. Part of being an extraordinary organization is to exceed recognized national standards in providing services to people in our community.

One of these standards is the AIRS Accreditation. AIRS (Alliance of Information & Referral Systems) is an organization that improves access to services for individuals, families and communities by providing a professional umbrella for all information & referral providers. Comprehensive and specialized I&R programs help people in every community and operate as a critical component of the health and human service delivery system.

AIRS Accreditation assesses the ability of an I&R program (like 2-1-1 at the Crisis Center) to demonstrate full compliance with the AIRS standards for professional information and referral.

The Crisis Center's 2-1-1 service passed every area of the AIRS accreditation process. 2-1-1 was commended for staff training and preparedness, data management, work environment & Board involvement. Crisis Center tours were described as a "best practice" and 2-1-1 was described as "a well-run and organized service with knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated staff."

The Crisis Center is committed to providing top quality programs and care to anyone who is facing a crisis in their lives. We invite you to visit 2-1-1 and the rest of the Crisis Center on a Hope Starts with Us tour. Click HERE to see a schedule of tours.
