Make a Local Impact
On Tuesday, May 6th, people from the Tampa Bay area will rally to support local non-profit organizations during Give Day Tampa Bay.
The Crisis Center is partnering with area non-profits and community members to raise funds for local needs. Coordinated by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and Florida NEXT Foundation, local nonprofits and donors from every neighborhood in our community will come together to raise significant funds for local needs-all on a single day. A Give Day Tampa Bay website has been established that makes it easy, safe and fun to give to organizations like the Crisis Center that are doing essential work in our community.
Only $0.22 of every $1 of Crisis Center funding comes from government sources. The rest is up to us! A donation of any amount helps ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone. The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay offers solutions for people in their time of crisis. These include the 2-1-1 crisis hotline, sexual assault services, and financial family stabilization. These programs give help, hope, and healing to those in need during the most difficult time of their lives.
