Holiday Wishes Come True

We all wear many hats at the Crisis Center. For most of the year, Lezlie Garcia serves as the Crisis Center's Volunteer Manager, but when the humidity disappears and the temperature drops, Lezlie puts on her Santa hat to coordinate the Crisis Center's holiday giving program.

Each holiday season, Crisis Center clients are identified who would benefit from receiving a special gift during the holiday season. Many of these individuals have undergone financial difficulties, medical emergencies, or emotional trauma. Each name and  need is written on ornaments that hang on trees at local businesses and organizations. Generous people then select ornaments and shop for gifts. People of all ages ranging from young children to home bound senior citizens benefit from

the holiday giving program.

This year over 450 gifts will be distributed by Crisis Center staff and volunteers. ME Wilson, Diversified Home Mortgage, and Casale Design Source are just a few of the businesses that have set up trees adorned with Crisis Center ornaments.

There are many ways to support the Crisis Center during the Holiday Season and through the year.  To make a tax deductible end-of year donation, you can donate online by clicking HERE or mail your donation to:
