Cause to Fund Works with Crisis Center to Fund Child Trauma Counseling

Great news! From October 1 to November 21st, the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is being featured on the Cause to Fund website. Cause to Fund is a Tampa Bay based crowdfunding website that helps raise funds for local non-profit organizations.

The Crisis Center's Cause to Fund campaign is dedicated to raise funds for child trauma counseling at the Crisis Center.

The Crisis Center provides specialized counseling to children who have experienced emotional trauma due to physical abuse, sexual assault, violent crime or other traumatic events. In recent months, 18% of therapy sessions at the Crisis Center were NOT covered by any insurance provider.  Staff at the Crisis Center work hard to find other forms of funding to ensure these kids receive the counseling they need, but this is often a struggle.
