Teresa Rose Crook joins Oklahoma City Community Foundation staff

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The Oklahoma City Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Teresa Rose Crook has joined its staff as the director of community programs.

In her role, Teresa oversees programs that enhance services and programs in the following focus areas: iFund Grant Program, Margaret Annis Boys Trust/Parks & Public Space Initiative, the Wellness Initiative, GiveSmartOKC.org and the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation.

"We are pleased to welcome someone with Teresa's experience and expertise to our staff," says Nancy B. Anthony, president.

Prior to joining the Oklahoma City Community Foundation staff, Teresa was the senior director for community relations and events for Chesapeake Energy, a position she held for seven years. A graduate of Oklahoma City University's School of Law, Teresa was a partner at The Center for Education Law, a firm that represented more than 150 public school districts in Oklahoma. An active community volunteer, Teresa serves as vice chair of education and workforce development for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, treasurer for the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools, MAPS 3 downtown park subcommittee and a board member of Allied Arts, Civic Center Foundation and Family Justice Center.
