Early September marks La Rentr�e in France, and most American students have returned to school by now as well. The summer holidays are over, and we relish the memories of long sunny days and special times with friends and family at barbecues, beaches and pools.
Hundreds of JUST FRANCE clients are looking back over their pictures and discussing the highlights of their trip to France, perhaps over a bottle of wine they carefully selected and brought back with them. There are always stories to be told, from getting lost on the way to that amazing restaurant deep in the countryside, to wondering about that seemingly ancient man with the twinkle in his eye who insisted he lead you to the cheese shop himself rather than just pointing the way.
As we return to reality and routine we hold those stories close and are inevitably drawn to the possibility of new experiences that could become one of those lifelong memories.

If you're thinking about 2016, especially with a big group, the time to book is now. Many of our larger villas (5-6-7 bedrooms) are already booked for some weeks in the summer. In fact our most popular property in Provence, La Tourelle, only has three weeks left: July 18 to August 1 and August 29 to September 5. In Provence, we had special discoveries in three different areas:
Le Gard Provencal (west of Avignon) -

Bouches-du-Rhone (south of Avignon) -

Situated in the heart of the Cote d'Armor department within easy walking distance of the port, a pristine and thoughtfully appointed Breton-style residence boasting panoramic sea views and direct beach access, a broad terrace ideal for al-fresco dining and well-tended gardens and grounds sure to please adults and children alike
In Burgundy, the amazing Chateau des Arts was our most impressive discovery of the trip. We can't wait to help more clients discover this bewitching area of the country.

La Manche region
The 103rd edition of the Tour de France will start on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Stage 1 will start at Mont-Saint-Michel and finish at Utah Beach Sainte Marie du Mont.
Au Fil de l'Eau, our new listing in Brittany, is currently open from June 18 to July 16. Two hours west of Mont Saint-Michel, this pristine waterfront property with direct beach access, as well as proximity to the chic town of Perros-Guirec on foot, would be an idyllic homebase before or after the Tour de France. | |
