I hate to admit it, but I got seriously behind the eight ball this past week or two. (Hence your Friday afternoon NOW meandering to you late Saturday night ... )

So I neglected my shoebox for Op Christmas Child and even managed to miss the prostinator's deadline. Of course I was thrilled to learn that there are just a few more ways to help Tiny Tim this Christmas season.

We'll be putting up two Christmas trees in the narthex after Thanksgiving. The first tree is a giving tree for five families of our Kid REACH tutoring program. Take a tag, buy a gift. Please return the gift by December 14th.

The second tree will benefit the homeless moms and their children who are currently residing in transitional housing at Renton's Vision House. Vision House aims to resolve each families homelessness permanently by building hope and restoring families. Gift cards are appreciated here, even as small as $10 and from stores like Target, Fred Meyer, Walmart, gas stations.

I have a niggling feeling that I'm forgetting a few items this week ...  don't forget, Women's Christmas Luncheon is around the corner, December 6th.
