My twins were born in late October (yes, full term, 38 weeks). Four weeks into motherhood and Thanksgiving loomed.

"Don't worry, we'll come to your house," chirped the relatives. "It'll be easier." Are you people serious? Nursing twins and basting a turkey didn't seem "easy" to me by any stretch. Oooh, to just sit back and have some pie. (To be clear: pie baked my someone that is not me).

And on a less techie note ... I'd love any photos you have of the church ... either exterior or interior. And an interesting question I have, especially for you old-timers: when did the cross get added to the steeple? The photo on this week's bulletin, from 1978, has no cross! I thought maybe it was just bad cropping ... but nope, no cross.

Anyhoo, I thought that maybe the front of the bulletin would be a nice place to show photos of our church throughout the years and how it has been a cornerstone in your life.

Finally -- snaps! to Ryan Gelzer for helping me think out loud on how to address our sermon audio needs.
