First and foremost, the Big News item this week is that we'll be worshiping in the family center on Sunday ... and after the service, we'll have a congregational meeting, with updates from ministries, missions and pastors. Brunch items will be available. Childcare is also available,  but please email Mary to reserve a spot.

Want to spread the word of Jesus's love and help needy children in a far-flung part of the globe without the hassles of international travel? Then grab a shoebox and fill it with oodles of toys, art and school supplies and love. NCC is taking part in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse. Either grab a brochure at our welcome desk or go online for details. (Hint: if you donate the $7 cost of shipping your shoebox online, you will be able to track your box's journey.)  

 

Bring your box to church by November 16th. We'll have shoeboxes available soon too, if you need them. There will be a special departure lounge in the church lobby/narthex for outgoing boxes.

Events This Week
Sun 26 October: Fanny Crosby Hymn-a-Palooza
Come to Pine Lake Covenant for a songful celebration of Fanny Crosby, featuring nine of her best known compositions. Fanny wrote 8,000 hyms, many of which have been part of every Covenant hymnal for the past century.  Invite a friend, bring a simple food item and stay for fellowship following the service.

Thu 30 October: Moms and Kids:  Child Safety
Police Officer Lisa Patricelli will come in to talk about keeping our kids safe during Halloween and beyond.

Fri 31 October: Fall Fun Fest

Trunk-or-treating, carnival games, bounce house, crafts and a free family photo to commemorate the evening. Bring your neighbors, friends and family for a fun-filled evening.

Youth Ministry

1. She's starting a confirmation class for seniors in high school.

2. She's currently sending out a newsletter once or twice a month and would be happy to add you to the list if you are interested.
