We've got a new series this week, "What About Me?" I'll admit, when Pastor Adam informed me this would be a miniseries, just three weeks, I immediately thought to myself "Humph. Me indeedy. I feel like I need at least five weeks on this topic!."

As much as I pride myself on my techie skills, the past couple of weeks have tossed some weird hurdles in my way. I'm pleased that most barriers have been kicked out of the way (knock wood) with some improvements with you in mind.

I've crated an archive of these NOW emails, in case you missed one. Click here to access

and (drum roll)

The narthex flat screen TV and I are now friends. I've started out with some lovely photos of our pastors and events, but remain open to feedback. Is the screen a place for solemn Biblical thoughts? Or perhaps a tool to get to know each other better?

Church admin Karen is going to Hawaii* in November for her daughter's wedding.

We are seeking a volunteer to come in and help out in the office November 7th through the 14th whilst Karen basks in the sun.  Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors and knowing where everything and everyone is at all times. (<== JK about that last one.)

If interested, email Karen or Eric. Hours can be flexible.

(*in case you are wondering, Karen was last in Hawaii when she was 19... I'd say this trip is long overdue.)
