The Deans and Directors Retreat will take place in Miami, FL

Have you remembered to register for the Deans and Directors Retreat? (or have you passed it on to YOUR Dean and Director?)

Why now? Great programming (issues-driven); hotel on Biscayne Bay (limited rooms) and registration fee goes up December 1!

Have you made a note to apply for the Green Award or the Idaho Potato Commission Innovation Award?

Why? These awards offer cash prizes as well as complimentary registration to the 2016 Leadership Conference. You need to share what you are doing with your peers!

Have you read the November issue of the Gold Medal Classroom? And have you met our new editor, Lisa Parrish?

Why? The issue has some great ideas to share including networking opportunities for your students, different career choices, grappling with challenges in/out of the classroom and more.

Why? You asked for it and we found a sponsor (thank you Johnson & Wales University) to help pay for the educational best practices' presentation to be filmed for you. We know not everyone can come to the conference; but now you can get a taste of the event.

Have you put the 2016 conference on your calendar (or in your funding request) yet?

Why? We'll have Master Classes, an opening night reception, a full day of industry outreach, and a full day of educational best practices. You'll see a great InfoFair, earn ACF continuing education hours, and be with educators from around the U.S.
