CAFÉ is proud to announce a partnership with the Idaho Potato Commission in its annual Innovation Award to recognize an individual or a program that exhibits initiatives and proven results in culinary/baking/pastry education.

 

The Innovation Award will be given out at CAFÉ's Annual Leadership Conference, June 18-20, 2015, in Niagara Falls, New York.  The Award has a $1,500 cash prize plus complimentary registration for the Conference.  There will be two runners-up with cash prizes and registrations as well.

MEET THE PRESENTERS

 

Certified Master Chef Steve Jilleba and Lisa Carlson, RD, from Unilever Food Solutions will discuss and demonstrate what they refer to as "Seductive Nutrition" at the upcoming CAFÉ "Health and Food Seminar" October 17-19, 2015, in New Orleans.

 

Food choices are inherently based on a few simple bio-mechanisms-tastes that we love and often memories of those taste experiences.  Learn why your Top 10 favorite food list is not much different from any else's, even outside the U.S.

 

You'll also learn why people often need to be "seduced" to eat healthier foods even when they want to make a healthier choice dining out.  The speakers will share recent World Menu Reports that show that one way to improve our diets is to focus on making our top dishes delicious, and a little healthier.
