NEW ORLEANS

 

CAF� is proud to announce a first-ever joint event with Tulane University October 17-19 in the beautiful and exotic city of New Orleans.  Tulane has a culinary medicine program which will be fascinating for attendees to learn about.  The topic of the event is "Health and Food."

 

This will be a very limited event (due to facility size).  Watch CAF�'s website for the registration form and hotel information.

 

We are also looking for a few good presenters.  There is a "Call for Proposals"  located at http://cafemeetingplace.com/cafe-events/call-for-presentation-proposals


AND THE WINNERS ARE....

 

The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and Emmi Roth Foodservice have announced the winning instructors from the 2014 July Externship Experience and Tour that they are sponsoring.  The winners are:  Dean Louie (Maui Community College), Marcia Kramer (Johnson & Wales University/Denver), Marylou Tate (Nashville State Community College),Ana Plana (Miami Culinary Institute), Paul Mendoza (Galveston College), and Tamara Steimach (Monroe Career & Technical Institute).
