Dear Leadership Conference Attendee,
We are less than 90 days from our 10th Annual CAFÉ Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City. I need to give you an update on our host hotel, Little America.
As of today, there are no additional Tower Rooms (@ $109/night) available for our conference. Apparently the hotel has moved up (or delayed) some remodeling projects and if you have not already booked the rooms, there are none available. This may change as we get closer to the date (and they get closer to finishing their projects), but you need to know the alternatives.
I have toured the other rooms at the property. They have "Garden" Rooms at the CAFÉ rate of $99/night. These rooms are 450 square feet and enjoy all of the same benefits as the Tower Rooms: free Internet, free parking, conveniently located within ˝ block of the TRAX from the airport and downtown (free) Trolley. The property has two outdoor swimming pools for their guests' use as well.
Across the street from the Little America Hotel is the Grand America Hotel. Their normal rack rate is over $300/night; we have been offered rates at $199/night in Premier King Guestrooms. There is a charge for parking at Grand America, but the two hotels are owned by the same corporation so that guests can charge meals, etc. and use all of the amenities offered for each hotel on to the one bill.
I must emphasize that there are limited rooms available (only 100 in each facility) at this point in time. Other options will include nearby properties such as the DoubleTree Hotel, but our bus transportation to all of the CAFÉ programs will be from the Little America property.
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused and urge you to book your rooms as soon as possible so that you can enjoy the conference with minimum challenges (such as being off-premise!).
The reservation number for Little America and Grand America is 1-800-437-5288. Reference the CAFÉ rate when you call. And please let me know if you are having any challenges with your reservations.
All the best, Mary
