Chef Michael Carmel has over 35 years' experience as an industry chef and educator in postsecondary education. Chef Carmel received his culinary education at the Culinary Institute of America and earned a Masters in Adult Education from National Louis University. He has been a chef educator and culinary director at Kendall College, Art Institute and served as Vice President of Education at Le Cordon Bleu College in Orlando. He is a Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Educator and currently serves as Culinary Department Head at the Culinary Institute of Charleston at Triton College in South Carolina.
Chef's Carmel's presentation will be on Friday, June 20th, during the Educational Best Practices Day at the Leadership Conference. He will discuss Blended Learning.
