DEANS AND DIRECTORS RETREAT

The hotel deadline for the 2014 Postsecondary Deans and Directors Retreat is this week!  Register on line at  http://cafemeetingplace.com/cafe-events/managing-change  and call for your hotel room ASAP.  The great location (near the Water Tower) includes a suite room and breakfast.

The Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to network with your peers from across the U.S.  This year's topic:  "Managing Change" is relevant no matter what kind of institution you have or where you are located.  We limit the Retreat attendance to 50 participants.

There will be experts guiding us to handle change as well as helping us face some of our toughest challenges in admissions, retention, and graduation.  We'll also have some straight talk on the cost of education and how to determine curriculum changes based on trends rather than fads.

We will have an update on social media, our ever-present elephant in the room!  And we will have an industry panel giving us their insiders' views on trends that are relevant to our work, now and in the future.

February 21-23, 2014, Chicago.  And as a special treat!  The CAFÉ attendees are invited to attend a media reception featuring foods and wines from Idaho.

This event is of great value.  Your participation will help ensure its place in professional development scheduling each year.
