The Agenda You’ve Been Waiting For!

The 9th Annual CAFÉ Leadership Conference Agenda is now online

There is all new programming in a similar format to last year’s successful agenda.

NEW THIS YEAR is a special seminar led by Certified Master Chef Steve Jilleba from Unilever Foodsolutions on the topic of “Winning Competition Elements.”  Chef Jilleba is not only a competition judge, but is also the former manager of the ACF Culinary Olympic Team.  The seminar will be limited to 50 signups.  Attendees will be notified and asked for their commitment to attend prior to the event.

The opening night reception will be at the new Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College, the largest community college in the U.S.  You will see the facility from the student-run “Root Cellar” all the way to the top-of-the-building restaurant Tuyo, overlooking the cruise harbor and run by Chef Norman Van Aken.

Friday is a full day at Johnson & Wales N. Miami campus where you can choose to attend a variety of educational best practices’ workshops conducted by your peers.  Topics range from technology to networking, sustainability to the concept of “followership.”  And more!

Saturday is our Industry Connections Day and you will hear from industry leaders such as Chef Norman Van Aken, keynoter and including a panel on “Foods from the Americas.”  A special panelist with us that day is Allen Susser, world-renowned for his promotion of south-Florida cuisine and author of “New World Cuisine and Cookery.”

We also have the audience-favorite from 2012, our 20-Minute Trends Updates featuring all new products and concepts.  And the Industry InfoFair where they share educational resources for your classrooms.

The Event is June 20-22, 2013; there is a block of hotel rooms at the Marriot Biscayne Bay at the rate of $129 per night!
