Highlights of February Deans and Directors Retreat
CAFE is committed to providing foodservice educators not only ways to keep up to date with their professional and educational skills, but also providing tools to plan for the future of their chosen profession.
Sometimes this commitment takes CAFE into areas that have not been explored such as what's our collective vision for the future. This goes way beyond molecular gastronomy or smart classrooms...this goes to what our classrooms will expand to look like and who our future partners and customers will be. This will include struggles with virtual classrooms even to learn cooking and tasting skills as well as how to remake ourselves over as teachers as well as guides to the standards of the professions.
