What's a MOOC?

 

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) has caught fire in higher education.  These courses offered by prestigious universities such as Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of California Berkley and University of Virginia, offer at no charge classes to people with access to the Internet.

  • How exactly does that work?
  • How can you make revenue from that model?
  • How can you administer student assessment?
  • How can this work in a vocational setting?
  • How will this affect my strategic planning for 2020?

One of the keynote speakers at the February 22-24, 2013, Deans and Directors Retreat in Chicago will address these questions and engage attendees in a dialogue focusing on the future.
