Executive Leaders Program
Get a real insider's look at the 'system' to better understand how government, politics, and businesses interact at a local and statewide level. You're invited to participate in the PA Business Council Executive Leaders Program. Directed by former PA State Senator and gubernatorial candidate, Earl Baker, this is a seven day program with no more than three days in any one segment. Each day is devoted to hearing from presenters with inside knowledge and experience in an aspect of the program. The program is limited to ten participants per class. The group is small and select by design to create an atmosphere of candid interaction. Mr. Baker Earl designed the program to provide a training vehicle in Pennsylvania politics, government, and public affairs to "fast track" executives identified by their firms as senior management or prospects for senior management. Earl will lead all of the sessions, with invited speakers who are expert in the topics being covered including: elected officials, former elected officials, administrative officials, and others selected for their personal and professional knowledge of the governmental and political process. The Executive Leaders Program welcomes chamber executives to participate. With the cooperation of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry a special Chamber Scholarship makes it convenient and more affordable for chamber executives to gain this valuable experience. Join the following list of Chamber executives who are proud alumni of the program: Sheila Himes, Capitol Region; Nancy Keefer, Chester County; Tim Phelps, Tri-County; Chad Amond, Westmoreland County; Bob Jensenius, York County; Bernie Dagenais, Main Line; Vern Squier, Centre County; Alex Charlton, Delaware County; and Anselm Sauter, Greater Philadelphia.
