You're invited to "Be Strong and Courageous" VBS! Vacation Bible School will take place on June 17-20 from 6-8pm each evening. All kids age 4 by 9/1/2013 through current (2012-2013 school year) Fifth Graders are eligible to enroll. Come learn how to Be Strong and Courageous through the super powers God gives us. Register online or in the Atrium on Sunday mornings April 21 and 28. Children who register on or before Monday, May 13 receive a t-shirt. Questions? We are looking for students and adults interested in helping with ANY aspect of Vacation Bible School. To be eligible, students must have completed Sixth Grade by this summer (those heading to Seventh Grade in the Fall). Positions will be available in Crafts, Games, Snacks, Music, Bible Stories, Preschool, Nursery Care, Technology, and as Crew Leaders, which is our largest need. Registration coincides with children's registration. Register online or in the Atrium on Sunday mornings April 21 and 28. We need your gelatin & pudding boxes
The VBS Planning Team is collecting empty Jell-O SIZED cardboard boxes for a VBS craft project. Bring your empty boxes to the designated receptacles in the Atrium. Questions? Contact vbs@connectwithcalvary.org
We're Still Collecting T-Shirts
KidVenture is collecting gently used t-shirts of all adult sizes. Donated T-shirts should have no designs on the back. The front design does not matter as it will be cut off. The shirts will be used in a project for VBS this year. Clean out your closets and help us collect 150 t-shirts. Bring your shirts to the designated receptacles in the Atrium. Questions? KIDVENTURE CALENDAR Shine On Celebration - Today! A dinner, building consecration, and fireworks to celebrate the opening of our new building. KidVenture Choir Mother's Day - May 12 The choir will sing during both the 9 & 10:30 am worship services. KidVenture Park Day - June 5 A morning of reaching out to the kids in our community through fun activities at a local park. Time and park location TBA. Vacation Bible School - June 17-20 Four action-packed nights of unpacking our God-given super powers! Calvary Night at the CornCrib - June 21 Join the Calvary family as we cheer on the Normal CornBelters. Watch for ticket sales information in upcoming communications.
