Discover Your Family's Rhythm

A couple once shared with me that they had no balance in their lives. Their home seemed like a battlefield filled with daily conflicts. Their children were frustrated and discontent most of the time. As a husband and wife, they felt like they couldn't find margin in their lives to do the things necessary to make their marriage and home life better. Frustrated and in tears, they said they couldn't find peace in the midst of the chaos, and they were about to give up.

After a little more discussion, I asked them if they had any sort of routine in their daily or weekly schedule. The wife responded to me quickly that she had grown up in a very structured home, and now she absolutely did not believe in sticking to any type of schedule. Many couples run from routines and schedules...

We're Collecting T-Shirts for a VBS Project

KidVenture is collecting gently used t-shirts of all adult sizes. Donated T-shirts should have no designs on the back. The front design does not matter as it will be cut off. The shirts will be used in a project for VBS this year. Clean out your closets and help us collect 150 t-shirts. Bring your shirts to the designated receptacles in the Atrium. Questions? VBS Registration begins NEXT WEEK!

Be Strong and Courageous VBS is coming! VBS will run from 6-8 pm the week of June 17-20. All kids age 4 by 9/1/2013 through current (2012-2013 school year) Fifth Graders are eligible to enroll. Come learn how to Be Strong and Courageous through the super powers God gives us. Registration opportunities will be available online or in the Atrium on Sunday mornings April 21 and 28. Questions? VBS Volunteer Registration begins NEXT WEEK!

We are looking for students and adults interesting in helping with ANY aspect of VBS. To be eligible students must have completed Sixth Grade by this summer (those heading to Seventh Grade in the Fall). Positions will be available in Crafts, Games, Snacks, Music, Bible Stories, Preschool, Nursery Care, Technology, and our largest need which is Crew Leaders.
