NABCEP Announces New Board of Directors Member
We are pleased to announce that Rebekah Hren has been elected to the NABCEP Board of Directors. Rebekah is a North Carolina licensed electrical contractor, NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installation Professional, and PV instructor and curriculum developer for Solar Energy International and the NC Clean Energy Technology Center.

Rebekah commented on her recent election, "I'm excited to be in a position to help further the mission of NABCEP - in particular our shared commitment to quality renewable energy installations and to worker safety. I care deeply about the success of the people and the companies that make up the solar energy industry, and joining the NABCEP Board of Directors allows me to put my expertise in solar energy to work in direct support of the industry."  
  
The NABCEP Board and staff are looking forward to working with Rebekah in her new capacity.

NABCEP Congratulates Newly Accredited Companies:
Apex Solar Power and
Solar-Ray, Inc.


NABCEP is very pleased to announce that Apex Solar Power of Glens Falls, New York and Solar-Ray Inc. of Orlando, Florida have achieved NABCEP Company Accreditation.These companies are the first in their states to achieve this credential. 

To earn this accreditation, the PV installation companies had to undergo a thorough and rigorous application and review process that included the submission of procedures and policies and an independent, third party inspections of previously installed systems. 

The core elements of NABCEP Company Accreditation include: employment of NABCEP certified installation and technical sales personnel, documented and consistent policies and programs as they relate to the operations of the company, ongoing worker training program(s), and a strong focus on worker safety.

NABCEP has collaborated with ProSight Specialty Insurance to promote certification by offering premium insurance credits to qualified solar installation companies that have achieved NABCEP Company Accreditation or have Certified Professionals on staff.

NABCEP Congratulates New Certified Professionals

The results of the October 24, 2015 Certification Exams were released via postal mail on December 10, 2015. 

NABCEP is proud to announce the addition of 184 PV Installation, PV Technical Sales, and Solar Heating Installer Professionals.

The NABCEP staff and Board of Directors would like to extend congratulations to our new NABCEP Certified Professionals. We hope it proves to be a valuable tool  in your professional development for years to come.
