Thank you for registering for
Holiday Hoof & FestivALE
in Downtown Ferndale
on November 22, 2014.

The Obstacle Race starts at 5:30pm and the Fun Walk will go off at @5:45pm depending on the number of runners and waves. Each wave will go off in groups of 50, so grab your friends and line up together at the start area on West Troy Street.

Remember to dress for the weather, put on as much illumination and reflective gear as possible and bring extra clothes to stay for FestivALE, the Woodard Avenue Tree Lighting with Metalliclaus and Holiday Hoof Awards. Bag check is available.

This year we are offering an early packet pick-up on Thursday, November 20th from 4-8pm at State of the Art Framing & Gallery, located at 918 W. Nine Mile Rd. in Downtown Ferndale (between Livernois and Pinecrest Roads on north side of street). Please remember to bring your ID.

Race day packet pick-up and FestivALE starts at noon and will be located directly behind the Ferndale DDA office (149 W. Nine Mile Rd.), just west of Woodward on West Troy Street. Please remember to bring your photo identification! This is important for both registration and access to FestivALE. You receive one free pass into FestivALE when you check in. Entrance into FestivALE has been streamlined and will hopefully make for an enjoyable day for everyone. You will also receive a commemorative cup at packet pick-up assuring everyone receives their cup! (Which also means if you pick up early you need to bring this cup with you to partake in beverages on race day). In addition to all this, you will get two reflective arm bands to wear on race day and when you complete your run, you will receive a one-of-a-kind, and new tradition, finisher's medal/holiday ornament. We hope you truly like these new additions this year!

If you are part of a group or want enter the "group prize competition", please make sure to send in your name of your group and group member names to info@downtownferndale.com if you did not register your group online at Active.com. It is also important that your group stands out as a team and you have a consistent team identity. Honorary judges will be searching the crowds for your team identity.

Further details can be found in the FAQ sheet, as well as you can check out the obstacles, race course and other details on our website http://www.downtownferndale.com. We have made some important updates to both the FAQ and the obstacle list. Get ready to get hoofin'! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call us at 248.546.1632.

If you have any friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or general acquaintances that you think will enjoy this fun event as much as we know you will, there is still time to register either online until Thursday at 12noon, via fax/email, in person at the DDA office or on race day. We look forward to seeing you at Holiday Hoof!
