Greetings from West Nine!

We are happy to report that the West Nine Mile water main is now completely in and all businesses are connected to it!  (Cowboy) Hats off to the construction crews who kept the job on schedule, with as few interruptions as possible.  Thank you, too, for your patience during this project.

As we enter "Gussy Up" mode, work continues but it won't look like much -- to begin with. But keep watching -- as each step is complete, you will start to see the transformation.

 .

What to Expect in the Week Ahead:

  • Driveways and sidewalks - work continues.
  • More base concrete in mainline trench.
  • Grading for sidewalks continues.
  • Crews off road for Fourth of July holiday by 3 pm, July 3.

Again, thank you for your patience.  Call if  the DDA at 248-546-1632 with your questions.   We are here to inform and help!

Sincerely,

Cristina Sheppard-Decius, CMSM
