BUSINESS NEWS
"Change is Good" and there's been plenty of that lately in Downtown Ferndale.
Aside from the huge water main replacement & streetscape project on West Nine - How the West was One - which will change the entire look and feel of that part of town, there has also been plenty of hustle & bustle in the district as busineses grow up, grow out & evolve.
Consider:
Rust Belt Market recently revamped its interior space to include Belt-driven event space that is both unexpected and
intriquing. PLUS vendors have transformed "booth" space into mini-boutiques, making shopping the RBM an experience extraordinaire. Check it out.
Elegance By Design, you may have noticed, is also offering a unique opportunity to its customers as the home furnishing stars prepare for a new location. Consumers will find great product to primp their home and 0% financing, besides. Where is Elegance going? At a new downtown location, promises owner Daniel Behnke. Stay tuned.
Double Up, on Woodward just south of Nine, is the newest store on the block, offering a funky array of cool, new streetwear.
Other changes:
The Public House opening soon in the former Josephine's; new owner for Queen's Nails are putting some polish on the interior.
