Lots are changing as you read!

Parking & paying for it in Downtown Ferndale is getting easier every day, thanks to a major upgrade to the city's parking system with the installation of multi space pay stations.

By the end of  Wed. Feb. 6, all of the city's parking lots will be equipped with Luke II Pay Stations and meter heads will be replaced with parking space numbers.  On street parking will continue to be serviced with single meters.

Ferndale Park+ pay stations will take all tender -- coin, paper, plastic and cell phone via Parkmobile.  Receipts will be printed for your records and should you need to add to your parking session, you can at any pay station in the city.

Here's how it works.
1. Park your car.
2. Remember your space number.
3. Locate Pay Station via directional signage.
4. Touch any Pay Station key and follow the prompts.

It really is that simple.   If you are having difficulties, look for Ferndale Park+ ambassadors for assistance.

The parking rate is 75 cents an hour  at most lots; 50 cents an hour at  Lot #1  at West Breckenridge.  Evening rates are $1 hour, from 7-11 pm, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.   On Street parking is $1 an hour at all times.

Parking passes at discounted rates for specific lots will be available at Ferndale City Hall, beginning April 1.
