Dear Hands On Volunteer,

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Back-to-School Supply Drive! We've been amazed by the overwhelming community response this year! We're still sorting through the generous piles of supplies, but are certain that we will be able to outfit more than a thousand local students with new backpacks. In fact, we are optimistic that this will be the best year ever!!

Our Student and Community Engagement Coordinators, Sam Fontaine and Alexandra Woodhouse, have been hard at work at Enka Middle Community School. As AmeriCorps VISTA members, their year-long commitment is coming to an end. Thanks Alex and Sam for investing in students and families of the Enka-Candler community! Check out their accomplishments.
